This morning I saw the John Cougar video for "This Time I know It's Love" starring Edith Massey! It was totally incredible. I had no idea that John Cougar was so cool. He's just such a generic dirty old man married to some blonde the same age as his kids now.

McKay amazingly called me last night. She's in town so she alloted me exactly one hour and a half. We got mexican food and discussed our horrible spinsterhood and fatness. It was just enough time to make me really hungry for hanging out with McKay before some giant buzzer in her purse went off and she was all: "Sorry! Time's up! Important people are waiting for me!".

Comments:

Edith Massay was raised in an orphanage in Denver.

Cougar or melloncamp? i can't find anything about that song.

thanks david. oooh, exciting, my first interaction w/ david

When I was younger, my mom wanted to send me to Melon Camp, where I'd learn about honeydews and casabas and whatnot. Thank goodness Space Camp was the same week. Nobody should be a fruit nerd.

that comment is almost like the weird poetry spam that's been in people's inboxes lately.

Holy shit she's even on the COVER!?

And yeah, thanks, David.

Oh jesus I'm going to die from the information that Edith Massey is an orphan.

T: Yeah sometimes your dumbass comments are practically poetry.
