We went to a Halloween party at Orlando's Saturday. I have never been to a party where people were so elaborately dressed up. It was awesome.

My Buddy was my favourite

My Buddy and Kid Sister

I don't have any decent pictures of my Amy Winehouse get up. I regret having no pictures of my tattoos, b/c we worked hard on them.

Several people asked me if I was dressed as the girl from Hairspray. I assume b/c I'm fat. This wouldn't even offend me if that new eye herpe starring John Travolta hadn't just come out. If they were confusing me with Ricki Lake I'd be cool with it.

For bowling this month Gary told us to dress as our favourite slut. I went as Ben.

Two Bens

My mom's take: "You look more like a dyke than a man."
10 minutes later: "You really shouldn't bother becoming a lesbian."
Me: "Well even if I did I'd be lipstick, not a drag king."
Her: "I don't even know what any of that means."

Michael went as Flo. We killed ourselves trying to find this specific blue chinese dress she always wears as ambassador to Dining Out For Life. (The red part is supposed to be a wine stain. Not a stab wound.)

Sarah Brown is so good at verbalizing exactly what is going on that sometimes its disgusting. This recent post reminded me of this boy in high school named, Michael, that in my head and to Donna I called, Ponyboy.

He was so beautiful and skinny and had this heart crushing haircut that had bangs in the front and a little bit long in the back. Like Atreyu. And I think he only owned heavy metal t-shirts. And he had this incredible brother (Sodapop, doy) who had perfect Axl Rose hair that was always wet when he got to school and he wore a white(!) leather jacket. And they were both all resource classes.

Anyway one summer I had to go to summer school for math and he had work crew. I pretty much would screw around after class as long as I possibly could so that I could finagle a reason to talk to him. Donna lived right beside school so I could go to her house later which afforded me more time to screw around. His brother was work crew too and clearly found me to be a complete pain in the ass. But it’s ok, b/c according to my fantasies he had a real rough life with that dad that pushed them around and all.

So one day I’m talking to him in the cafeteria and he just plants this kiss on me. And just as the chorus rose and the heavens opened Mr. Webb my stupid math teacher had to happen by.

I remember why this was the end of the whole thing. If it was up to me we’d be married now.
