Bumper stickers you have a 90% chance of seeing at least once a day in Asheville:

"All who wander are not lost"
"Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup"
"come to the darkside, we have cookies"
"don't move here"
"AVL FRK"
"keep asheville weird"
"dog is love", "praise dog", or "dog only nose"
"The only Bush I trust is my own"

Posthumous (gratefully:

"we still chant"
"we still read"
"mean people suck"
"it will be a great day when schools have all the money they need and the government has to hold a bake sale to fund a war"

Comments:

you forgot Coexist

Ugh! You're right. Good one. I also sort of forgot the diversity symbol and or the gay flag in some iteration.

Funny that people call it the "Gay Flag" and not the "Fag Flag".

Asheville soundslike Portland - East. Roller derby, gay rainbows, fire shows, and bad bumper stickers are all too familiar.

I was surprised to find "imagine whirled peas" didn't make your list.

Imagine Whirled Peas is a good posthumous, I don't see that one around so much anymore...

Asheville is a little like Portland, without all the hilarious tricked out steakhouses and neon and piano stores.
